I'm a producer and entrepreneur with experience across film, animation, gaming, theatre, and the performing arts.
My career has been less than linear, starting in music as a jazz and classical pianist, studying classical piano performance and music theory at McGill University. Understanding complex systems, breaking down abstract concepts into their practical components, and communicating those ideas across different disciplines.
For the past seven-plus years, I've been Managing Partner of Double Plus Productions, an animation and production studio involved in commercial production, original intellectual property development, and entertainment projects. My work as a producer spans creative development, production management, budgeting, production finance, and commercial partnerships, working with clients, artists, and production teams internationally.
My professional background also includes work with Pacific Northwest Ballet and musical direction for improv theatre at Improv Asylum and Second City. Recent production projects include work on Brawl Stars, Brawlhalla, and an original animated film that premiered at the Tribeca Festival, alongside original IP development, such as our projects Cody++. and Chosen.
More recently, I've been pursuing formal education in accounting and taxation, building on my experience managing the financial and commercial aspects of creative businesses.
Accounting is often described as the language of business, and I've found that much of my professional career has involved translating between creative, operational, and financial perspectives to help people understand and make decisions.
I live in the Pacific Northwest, with my wife and two daughters.
